California Supreme Court Justice Goodwin H. Liu will be inducted into the American Academy of Political and Social Science (AAPSS) this fall, in recognition of his contributions to social science, public policy, and public discourse.
Nancy Black helped guide the work of the Committee on Judicial Ethics Opinions, an independent committee established by the California Supreme Court that advised judges on a range of modern ethical issues.
"Justice Joseph R. Grodin was a brilliant jurist whose contributions to California’s legal system—as a labor lawyer, Supreme Court justice, and professor—continue to resonate," said Chief Justice Patricia Guerrero.
