Supreme Court Extends Deadlines in Response to COVID-19

The order applies only to California Supreme Court proceedings with deadlines from March 20 through April 20.

The Supreme Court of California today issued an order extending all high court proceedings for an additional 30 days, in light of the COVID-19 pandemic which has created a "public health emergency."

The order applies only to California Supreme Court proceedings with deadlines from March 20 through April 20.

The order was issued under California Rules of Court, Rule 8.66, which governs emergency extensions of time.
