Parents’ Drug Dealer Can’t Be Prosecuted for Murder Over Toddler’s Fatal Overdose

The Sixth District Court of Appeal has held that a drug dealer is not liable for murder as a matter of law relating to the death of his roommates’ 19-month-old child following her ingestion of fentanyl, which he regularly supplied to the decedents’ parents.
