California Supreme Court to Hold Oral Argument Sessions Remotely in May

Justices and counsel will appear remotely via video connection while upgrades are made in the San Francisco courtroom

The California Supreme Court has announced it will hold two oral argument sessions remotely during May while upgrades are made in its San Francisco courtroom.

The oral argument sessions are scheduled for the weeks of May 8 and May 22. All justices and counsel will appear via video connection.

The court will be upgrading courtroom technology that will enhance its livestreaming capabilities and facilitate remote appearances by counsel.

Oral argument will be livestreamed on the websites for the Supreme Court and the California Courts Newsroom.
