SAN JOSE—The Court of Appeal for the Sixth Appellate District (San Jose) has announced its intention to destroy the following criminal, juvenile, and civil records pursuant to Rule 10.1028(c), California Rules of Court:
- All criminal and juvenile cases (excluding those with published opinions) designated in records transfer lists 39 and 41 encompassing criminal and juvenile cases preserved for a period longer than 20 years.
- All civil cases (excluding those with published opinions) designated in records transfer list 84 encompassing civil cases preserved for a period longer than 10 years.

Anyone who knows of a reason why any of the above cases should be retained, whether for historical or other reasons, should notify Michael J. Yerly, Clerk/Administrator. The reasons for retention should be in writing, should be received by the court by February 1, 2014, and should be addressed to:
