The Pretrial Detention Reform Workgroup issued its final report last month, recommending money bail be replaced by a risk-based assessment and supervision system. Members of that workgroup will present to the Judicial Council at approximately 2:45PM.

The workgroup submitted its report to the Chief Justice in October, and she asked the workgroup to present its process, findings, and recommendations as an informational item to the Judicial Council at its public meeting.
