The curse that already has afflicted two previous incarnations of the South County courthouse may have struck again. This time, water is bubbling up in the basement of the third building erected to put courts within easy reach of south Santa Clara County residents.

Santa Clara Splits Complex Litigation Docket

Santa Clara Superior Court Judge Peter Kirwan, who has presided over some of Silicon Valley's biggest legal battles over the past three years as complex civil litigation judge, has been reassigned as part of a regular reshuffle, according to a court spokesman.
