With the support of Judicial Council staff, California judges and commissioners train up to 100 new judges and commissioners each year. During the week-long training, the new judges and commissioners drop in for an informal visit with Chief Justice Tani G. Cantil-Sakauye. If the training coincides with a Judicial Council meeting, the Chief Justice introdruces the new judges and commissioners during the public meeting.

At the Feb 25-26 Judicial Council meeting, the Chief Justice introduced the new judges and commissioners and expressed appreciation for the implicit bias education and training they received that week.
